Did not expect that !

Well, there were rumors that 'this' person will die in the Half Blood Prince. But I always argued against this. Maybe it was wishful thinking.
The book was great.. But I am disappointed that J.K.Rowling chose to kill this character.
Obviously I cant relieve the name. It would be a spoiler for the millions of fans out there.

Didn't want to let a spoiler out, eh? Monday I went to classes as usual and the first thing I heard was some 15 heads saying all in one voice, "Why does that character kill the other one?" (I'm pig-headed too, and I won't post spoilers.) :)

What?? Havent got HP6 yet????

for those (read Sriram) who doesnt know the ecstasy of Harry Potter.. we can only say, "The world is divided into two.. one who have experienced Harry Potter and the one with those who havent! Even if we say that u missed an wonderful experience to them, they wouldnt know the meaning of what we said unless they read the book." Very Simple!

I am so looking forward to reading it :(... but today when i walked into Blossoms where the book was on sale for Rs.650... i was sorta discouraged.... and then seeing a huge huge huge collection of my favorite fiction authors in this book store i was tempted to buy some of my favorite fiction novels....
Hmm...i hope i will be gifted this one someday perhaps ;)
I need to be focussing on work i suppose its good i didnt get it too :)

Hey Choms,

I agree with you.. I am TOTALLY upset that J K Rowling chose to do this.. I had tears in my eyes reading this.. Swami says that I am mad crying over a fictional character!!!

That the person would die,I suspected(sort of),but the way he/she/it dies shocked me...I wanted Voldemort to do the killing...Have I said too much?
Anyways,Three cheers to JKR for bringing out a fabulous book.I can't wait for the final book!

As Magnus Astrum has said.. There are those who read Harry Potter and those who dont.
Thankfully for me, my husband falls into the latter.. So, we complement each other in that sense.. And there was no need to buy 2 copies of the book. Imagine having to wait till he finished the book !!!! Well, you cant since you are not a Potter fan.. But I guess a fan would understand that.

Yes, Even, we had our analysis and discussions on Monday at office.. and all those who have not read the book had no clue on the excitement surrounding our discussion.
Only comment was "Wish you guys would half of this enthu in your work" ;-)

Thanks :-)

Thanks :-)
Yes, I did let it out to those people who are not Potter fans. I had a friend who asked me who is this who kills him? He had only seen the movies !! (duh !!!!) Anyway, me not being a movie enthusiast, after reading the book, had a hard time explaining to him.

Magnus Astrum

Read it..

Yes, Even Siju was finding it weird that I had tears in my eyes over a fictional character!!

Guess I was hoping it wont be him. He was one of my fav characters in the book.

Guess we can all keep hoping. After all, we all always want good to truimph over evil
