Railway reservation counter at the airport

I found a railway reservation counter at the Bangalore aiport. This is
really useful for so many travellers.
I think they should bring up more of these kind of counters and reduce
the load they have on booking counters at Cantontment, Indranagar and
other BDA complexes.

There is one such railway reservation counter at the Chennai Airport as well.....I hv been there sometimes as the crowd is much lesser than other reservation counters.

Cant you do it online? I thought somewhere I saw a site, where you could do online reservations (this could be true for Madras).

Hi Sowmya,

When was your B'day. Anyway many more happy returns of the same.

Regarding Railway counters in Airport only shows that there are still some people out there thinking selflessly.

Anand, Sriram
Thanks for the wishes.

Its available online for Bangalore also, but you cant use online if you are using any concession or for tatkal. It has its limitations.

I can still count the candles.. ;-

You missed the cake. but there are loads of other ocassions for cakes..

I did not know that intepretation.. I thought it meant mild..
which I have always doubted since that would not match with who I am !!

Hi Sowmya:

You are on camera at Chennai Central's weekend post (sorry to use a canned comment for all the bloggers for informing about that post since I don't have time to write individually to each). That post itself was many hours in the making :-)

The reservation counter at the top floor of the Utility building is among the best... it is huge,
has awesome views ( almost complete of bangalore)
and most important... has the least crowd.
